Position Title: Assistant Store Manager
Hours: Full-Time | ~40 hours a week
Pay: $50,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with our company and work closely with the District Manager to lead our Ala Moana Center shop. This pivotal role blends leadership, operational management, and customer service expertise to uphold our brand’s high standards while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Duties:
- Oversee both the retail sector and the jewelry bar, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
- Manage inventory control, including organizing, pricing, labeling, and conducting regular quality checks on products and back stock.
- Maintain and update back stock inventory (clothing, jewelry, wholesale items) with regular quality assurance checks.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring accuracy in product entries, inventory reports, and documentation.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with upper management, participating in monthly strategy meetings to discuss sales goals, events, and store performance.
- Assist the District Manager in leading and managing the store team, including task delegation, staff scheduling, and fostering a cohesive work environment.
- Support hiring, training, mentoring, and ongoing staff development, ensuring team members are informed about promotions, policies, and procedures.
- Set a professional example, driving sales performance through goal setting, team motivation, and continuous feedback.
Customer Experience & Sales:
- Provide personalized fashion and jewelry advice to customers, offering recommendations tailored to their needs.
- Enhance the overall client experience by ensuring high standards in service, sales, and store presentation.
- Drive sales performance by setting and achieving sales goals and fostering a motivated team environment.
Creative & Administrative Tasks:
- Design and create jewelry pieces for all store locations using various techniques such as wire wrapping and permanent jewelry welding.
- Assist with fulfilling online and wholesale jewelry orders, maintaining customer communication regarding pick-ups, returns, and inquiries.
- Maintain the store’s visual presentation by designing creative showroom displays and ensuring the boutique is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Execute all store opening and closing procedures independently, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
- Support boutique and brand events, contributing to planning and execution.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of women’s retail management experience.
- Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Google Suite.
- Passion for fashion and jewelry, with the ability to connect with customers and offer personalized service.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of guiding and inspiring a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially when liaising with senior management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisive, informed decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Position Summary:
We are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to join our team as a Retail & Jewelry Associate! As a Retail & Jewelry Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and maintaining the overall presentation and organization of our boutique.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Shifts split between working the shop (Retail Associate) and our jewelry bar (Jewelry Associate). Jewelry bar training will commence once you have demonstrated proficiency in the Retail Associate role of this position.
Customer Service: Greet, converse, and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing product knowledge and guidance to meet their needs. We are a very customer-oriented company!
Customer Engagement: Follow up with customers and return customers post-purchase to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Sales: Actively engage with customers to understand their preferences and make personalized product recommendations. Effectively communicate the features of our jewelry pieces. Inform customers of our handmade jewelry and jewelry bar as well as other in-store products.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our jewelry collection, materials, and craftsmanship to provide accurate and compelling information to customers. Knowledge of our jewelry along with the small businesses we carry is essential to succeed in this position.
Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system. Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Be able to perform all store opening and closing duties independently.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, restocking displays, and notifying management of low-stock items. Inventory is checked consistently.
Store Presentation: Ensure the all aspects of the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Collaborate with the team to create attractive merchandise displays.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- A passion for jewelry, fashion, and supporting small businesses!
- Know and love our brand & product, connect with our customers and team using great communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong leadership and people skills and take the initiative whenever necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to set realistic deadlines and follow specific steps to reach time-sensitive objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to help customers and work with management.
- Amazing customer service skills, including patience and active listening, to ensure customers feel heard and helped.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer skills for operating the POS system and other systems.
- Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
